Including—you guessed it—a rare Hermès bag
No matter how casual the outfit may seem, a Jennifer Lopez look is never without extreme luxury.
Our favorite flashy superstar brings the glamour via her designer wardrobe whether she’s dressing for the red carpet or for the streets of Beverly Hills. A few days ago, J.Lo stepped out for a solo shopping day in a fit composed of simple, albeit incredibly luxe staples.
Up top, she slipped into a crisp white button-up shirt with a sharp collar. She left the top partly unbuttoned and tucked it into high-waisted blue jeans with a built-in tie belt. The straight-leg jeans were frayed at the bottom, where a pair of strappy white block-heel sandals peeked out. Lopez mimicked the gloomy weather with a grayish-tan trench coat with tortoiseshell buttons, and coordinated the earthy tone with a chocolate brown Etoupe Clemence Hermès Kelly bag with gold hardware. The piece retails for $22,470 at Sotheby’s.
She finished the elevated everyday look with large square shades in clear caramel brown, plus a glossy black manicure.
We’ve come to expect extravagance from Lopez when it comes to her accessories, but this time around, it wasn’t her Hermès bag or giant sunglasses that caught our attention the most, but the massive diamond ring she wore on her middle finger. While Lopez understandably no longer wears her green diamond engagement ring or her wedding band from ex Ben Affleck, her new bling (divorce ring, anyone?) may be ushering in her new single-girl era.
“You have to be complete, if you want something that’s more complete. You have to be good on your own. I thought I learned that, but I didn’t. And then, this summer, I had to be like, ‘I need to go off and be on my own. I want to prove to myself that I can do that,’” Lopez said in a recent interview.
