Congratulations are in order for Plastique Tiara!

The RuPaul’s Drag Race alum and social media star, who turns 28 on April 11, announced over the weekend that she and her boyfriend are “happily, happily engaged” after three years of dating.

“He is the light of my life,” Plastique said during an appearance on The Pit Stop, MTV’s official RuPaul’s Drag Race recap show. “I’m just so happy, so excited.”

On the series, the Vietnamese personality also showed off her huge, emerald-cut diamond ring, hilariously referring to it as a “drag ring.”

“I was like, ‘I want it to be big enough so that I can wear it in drag,’ ” she joked to host Monét X Change.

Elsewhere on Plastique’s social media platforms, she shared a series of engagement photos, including one taken at the moment her now-fiancé got down on one knee to propose.

The carousel also featured a closer look at the ring, with the snapshot capturing even more detail of the jewelry piece including the sparkling tapered baguettes set in the band. Her fiancé wore a more understated engagement ring with a single signet stone.

“Baby boy this is serious,” Plastique captioned the photos, quoting Ariana Grande’s “dandelion” — a song to which she set her TikTok slideshow.

Plastique Tiara made her debut on RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2019, placing eighth out of 15 queens. She later returned for All Stars 9, which premiered in 2024, tying for fourth place.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, she became a viral star on TikTok thanks to her epic transformation videos. She currently has nearly 12 million followers on that platform, and 4 million on Instagram.

Opening up about her fame in a conversation with PEOPLE in May, Plastique encouraged other queens to embrace those finding fame on social media — something they’ve often been critical of in the past.

“It’s something new, and when people don’t know something, they’re afraid and they want to criticize,” Plastique said. “But RuPaul is out here doing Reels and doing transitions every day. So if she gets with it, they should get with it as well.”
