Vanessa Trump Supports Tiger Woods in First IG Post About New Boyfriend

Woods announced their relationship in March with a sappy social media post, though Trump has stayed quieter about the romance

Vanessa Trump made her first mention of new boyfriend Tiger Woods on social media as the Masters Golf tournament began on April 11.

While Woods, 49, is not participating in the 2025 tournament as he continues to recover from a torn Achilles, the legendary golfer took to social media to celebrate his new professional partnership with the iconic Augusta National Golf Club.

The team-up is a two-parter: launching a state-of-the-art STEAM education facility for local students and rehabilitating the Augusta Municipal Golf Course — better known as “The Patch.”

“Partnering with Augusta National to serve its surrounding community is truly special,” Woods wrote in an Instagram post. “This is a transformational opportunity to empower the next generation and provide meaningful educational programming while ensuring access to fun and affordable golf. I am excited to work alongside Augusta National and see both projects become a reality.”

Trump, 47, shared the post on Instagram Stories, the Daily Mail first reported, tagging Woods’ TGR Foundation, and marking her first public acknowledgement of the relationship.

However, Woods made them Instagram official back on March 23 with a sappy post.

“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!” the golfer captioned a pair of pics of the new couple. “We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time, we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”

Trump was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018 and they share five children. Woods divorced wife Elin Nordegren following a highly publicized cheating scandal. They share two children.

A source close to the couple told PEOPLE in March that Woods and Trump connected, in part, because of their golf-loving children: Trump’s daughter, Kai, 17, and Woods’ son, Charlie, 16.

“Their kids are going places in golf and both very disciplined about the sport,” the insider said. “They have that in common.”

As for how Vanessa’s former father-in-law, President Donald Trump, feels about the romance?

“I love Tiger and I love Vanessa,” the president told reporters in the Oval Office on April 1. “He and I have a very special, very good relationship…I played golf with him a couple of times over the last month, and he’s a fantastic guy and a fantastic athlete.”

“He told me about [the relationship with Vanessa], and I said, ‘Tiger, that’s good, that’s good.’ ” the president continued. “I’m very happy for both. Just let them both be happy. Let them both be happy. They’re both great.”
