The pop star rang in the occasion with some unreal glow
Mariah Carey is one year older, but still glowing from head to toe.
There’s no one who does glamour quite like the pop star, who rang in another year around the sun in style.
The “Emotions” singer, who turned 56 on March 27, rocked a birthday look so glam, we were undeniably obsessed with how it all came together.
In a TikTok video set to her 2005 song “It’s Like That,” the mom of two showed off her dazzling sequin sheer dress, which she paired with a satiny pink cover-up.
She looked as radiant as ever as she posed in her outfit on the beach, a firework show serving as her backdrop.
On Instagram, Carey also posted a selfie with a close-up look at her radiant makeup and, thanks to her glossy lips and bronzed skin, the glow-mometer was cranked to the max.
She captioned the photo, which also showed off her jewelry like her with “celebratory moments from 3.27.”
Carey’s most recent red carpet appearance was at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where she received the Icon Award, which has previously been bestowed upon Cher, Elton John and Jennifer Lopez. For the occasion, the singer wore a black mermaid gown that was so impressive with its train that it required its own escort (make that two) before the singer hit the stage.
Her acceptance speech was not only filled with candor (she confessed her distaste for “bad lighting” from the jump), but also with heartfelt sentiment on the subject of her late mother, Patricia Carey, who died last August on the same day as her sister Alison.
“On this Saint Patrick’s Day, I want to honor my mother Patricia Carey for giving me the gift of music,” she said.
Carey’s glam night out was accompanied by her plus-one Anderson .Paak, who she was seen getting cozy with on March 23 at the Birds Street Cafe in West Hollywood, Calif.
For the outing, the two performers wore laid-back outfits. Carey wore a sequin jacket and her natural curls while .Paak stepped out in a flannel jacket, graphic T-shirt and baseball cap worn backwards.
