Scottie Scheffler had a very special caddie crew as he hit the course at the 2025 Masters Tournament.

The 28-year-old reigning Masters champion was spotted with his wife Meredith Scudder and Bennett, who was born in May 2024, at the August National Golf Club in Georgia on Wednesday, April 9.

Scudder and the couple’s young son served as Scheffler’s caddie during the Par 3 contest, a family-forward tradition of the tournament that dates back to 1960.

Bennett, wearing a white jumpsuit that said “Scheffler” on the back, took in the action from his father’s arms during the family outing. The golf pro and his wife, who are featured on the third season of Netflix’s docuseries Full Swing, matched their son in white outfits as Bennett stole the show and adorably chewed on his collar.

Scheffler and Scudder, high school sweethearts at Highland Park High School in Dallas, married in 2020. The news that the couple were expecting their first child together broke in March 2024 when Scudder was seen with a noticeable baby bump as he won the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

They welcomed Bennett on May 8, 2024, just weeks after Scheffler won the 2024 Masters.

Scudder did not attend the 2024 tournament as she awaited Bennett’s arrival at the time, but Scheffler gave her a sweet shout out in his victory speech.

“To my lovely wife, Meredith. I love you, sweetheart,” he said. “I’m excited to get home. I miss you.”

Scheffler announced his mini-me’s arrival with a sweet post on Instagram a few days after Bennett was born. “Welcome to the world little one. Your mom & dad love you so much,” he captioned the post, giving his followers a glimpse of the newborn swaddled in white as the first-time dad cradled him in his arms.

Currently the No. 1 ranked golfer, Scheffler was able to celebrate another win just four months after his son’s birth: the 2024 FedEx Cup.

After his dad won the trophy, Bennett posed for fun photos to celebrate the win. “What a week! Shoutout to Bennett for being a good sport,” Scheffler wrote when he shared the photos on Instagram.
