The organizers of Boc Fest 2026 have officially announced the lineup of 11 artists and bands set to appear at the festival’s inaugural edition, taking place on September 19 at the Gia Lam Train Factory in Hanoi. The event stands out for bringing together music icons whose careers have spanned decades with young artists representing today’s entertainment scene.
The standout performer cast
My Tonic Media Joint Stock Company has confirmed the full lineup of artists performing at the event on September 19: Buc Tuong, Do Hoang Hiep, Hai Bot, Vinh Khuat, Vu Thanh Van, RHYDER, 52Hz, The Flob, Picker Band, 7UPPERCUTS, and LEXXY. This is a gathering of names with clearly defined artistic styles and distinct audience bases.

Each participating artist brings a distinctive facet of the contemporary music scene. The simultaneous presence of experienced bands and independent artists gives the performances at the Gia Lam Train Factory diversity in both musical genres and approaches to engaging with the public.
The early announcement of the full lineup allows audiences to easily grasp the structure of the program. All performances have been specially arranged under the direction of Music Director Ho Hoai Anh, with the event envisioned as a full day of live performances extending from the afternoon into late evening.
The gathering of competent artist generations
The lineup clearly reflects the continuity and legacy of Vietnamese music. Representing the older generation are Buc Tuong and vocalist Do Hoang Hiep, names closely associated with the formation and development of the Vietnamese rock movement across different periods. Alongside them, the return of Hai Bot (Quai Vat Ti Hon) brings a lyrical, rustic, and nostalgic quality through his deeply introspective songwriting.

Among the younger artists, RHYDER has attracted considerable attention with his fresh approach to songwriting and versatile performance abilities spanning singing, rap, and stage control. Vinh Khuat brings a distinctive multi-instrumental performance style built around electronic music infused with folk influences, while Vu Thanh Van, 52Hz, and young artist LEXXY represent the indie and Gen Z generation with powerful vocals and distinctive creative identities.
Alongside the solo artists, three bands — The Flob, 7UPPERCUTS, and Picker Band — add a youthful and free-spirited energy. The combination of the driving punk rock of 7UPPERCUTS, The Flob’s highly visual alternative style, and Picker Band’s solid musicianship creates a balanced sonic landscape that reflects the vibrant spirit of today’s young band scene.

Liberating the musical spirit on a grand stage
Unlike programs that rely on pre-recorded electronic backing tracks, Boc Fest 2026 places a strong emphasis on live band performances. All of the artists’ familiar songs will be given fresh arrangements through a modern rock lens, in line with the message “Boc lua bo tai nguoi”.
The artistic direction of musician Ho Hoai Anh plays a key role in harmonizing the diverse musical styles represented at the festival. Audiences will experience an evolving sonic journey, from explosive and edgy rhythms to intimate, introspective moments, ensuring a seamless flow throughout the hours-long event.

The live sound standards at the Gia Lam Train Factory have been carefully calculated to deliver the most authentic representation of both the vocal performances and live instrumentation. This meticulous preparation aims to provide an original and immersive listening experience that meets the expectations of Hanoi’s music community.
Mutual anticipation for distinctive collaborations
The greatest appeal of this year’s lineup lies in the cross-generational collaborations making their debut at the festival. Audiences can look forward to the joint performance by Buc Tuong and RHYDER, the emotionally charged musical dialogue between Hai Bot and 52Hz, as well as experimental collaborations between Do Hoang Hiep and Vu Thanh Van, and Vinh Khuat and LEXXY.

This arrangement breaks through conventional performance boundaries, creating opportunities for artists to exchange professional expertise and reinterpret their work together. Exclusive arrangements promise to transform the Boc Fest stage into a place that captures memorable collaborative moments in the Vietnamese music scene.
Boc Fest 2026 is now entering the final stages of stage preparation and rehearsal scheduling at 551 Nguyen Van Cu Street, Long Bien District. The concert on September 19 promises to become one of the capital’s notable cultural gatherings, offering attendees a complete space for artistic connection.
