The fashion show presenting the “gods within her” collection by LA TRINH atelier, under the creative direction of Namie Trinh, has officially taken place in Milan, Italy. The event featured 28 one-of-a-kind designs exploring femininity and traditional tailoring craftsmanship, marking a step forward in the integration of young Vietnamese designers into the European market. The program attracted international fashion enthusiasts as well as a large number of Vietnamese expatriates from across Europe.
Awakening the goddess in the fashion capital
The “gods within her” collection was built around the concept of the awakening of the feminine self across multiple layers of space and time. Drawing inspiration from the grandeur of ancient Western cathedrals to the mystique of Eastern mountains and forests, the 28 designs led viewers on a journey into the inner depths of womanhood.

Each design presented on the runway offered a fresh perspective on the beauty, mystery, and strength of women in modern society. By harmoniously combining a surreal visual language with the standards of high-end tailoring, the collection portrayed women as embodying both classical elegance and a spirit of freedom and independence.
The Milan runway served as a true artistic space where East Asian cultural symbols were thoughtfully integrated into the flow of contemporary global fashion. This was the young fashion house’s effort to offer a new definition of feminine beauty that transcends geographical boundaries.

Unique court enameling on the grand stage
The standout feature of “gods within her” lies in its cultural dialogue unfolding across legendary lands. The creative concept spans from the myths of ancient Greece in the Mediterranean to the motherland of Vietnam and the wider Asia-Pacific region.
Vietnamese identity is vividly expressed through designs inspired by the figure of Nam Phuong Empress, combined with the subdued color palette of the former imperial capital and the intricate art of Phap Lam enameling. Traditional elements are reinterpreted through a modern architectural perspective, creating garment structures that are both firmly constructed and faithful to the natural softness of the feminine form.

By transforming indigenous craftsmanship techniques into sculptural structures that meet international standards, the collection connects five heritage regions into a unified whole. This approach allows historical and national artistic values to blend seamlessly and confidently into the language of international fashion.
Gathering of a star-studded cast
The show attracted the participation of numerous prominent figures from the Vietnamese and international fashion scene. The front row brought together influential style figures such as Fashionista Quynh Anh Shyn, Stylist Nam Phung, and Fashion Creator Anna Woods, along with representatives from various industry publications and international photographers.

Beyond fashion professionals, the event also welcomed a large number of Vietnamese people living in France, Spain, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Italy. The support of this multigenerational overseas Vietnamese community provided strong encouragement for the young creative team.
Fashion critics and media representatives attending the show gave positive feedback on Namie Trinh’s ability to handle materials as well as her expertise in constructing garment silhouettes. These professional assessments provide strong motivation for LA TRINH atelier’s continued development in international markets.

Global fashion and culinary exchange
The program also made an impression through its harmonious combination of fashion presentation and a culinary experience celebrating both Vietnam and Italy. The event space in the historic city of Milan became a cultural meeting point where guests came together to exchange thoughts on heritage, art, and lifestyle.

International guests had the opportunity to savor traditional Vietnamese dishes alongside renowned Italian wines amid the romantic atmosphere of early autumn. This multisensory experience offered international visitors a deeper understanding of the beauty of Vietnamese culture and the country’s spirit of hospitality. The “gods within her” show concluded successfully, fulfilling its mission of bringing Vietnamese fashion to the international stage while laying the foundation for the brand’s upcoming artistic projects worldwide.
