The 7:00 p.m. time slot on September 16 at the MuseumsQuartier venue witnessed a creative collaboration by the SYLGV collective, presented with the support of the Toblerone brand. The show attracted considerable attention from fashion professionals through the participation of its member brands — Amateur, Kamen, Vienice, and Sus Jewelry — offering a contemporary tailoring perspective that celebrates local identity alongside a series of striking ready-to-wear designs for both men and women.
A midweek talent showdown
Within the diverse fashion panorama of the third day at MuseumsQuartier, the SYLGV collective officially took over the runway at 7:00 p.m. on September 16, immediately following Palla Vienna’s opening presentation. The group show created a strong sense of community connection, serving as a carefully prepared transition before the runway moved into the evening presentations by Pitour, Dreizehn, and The Next Generation.

Halle E + G welcomed a large audience of spectators, members of the press, and international style professionals. SYLGV stands for the independent creative collective “Support Your Local Girl Gang Vienna”, bringing together independent designers committed to sustainable fashion and a spirit of community support.
The minimalist stage featured a white backdrop displaying the names of the participating brands — Amateur, Kamen, Vienice, and Sus Jewelry — alongside music producer Inoukiendo. The support of the Toblerone brand added a fresh and unconventional touch, as models confidently walked the runway carrying oversized triangular chocolate bars.

State-of-the-art Kamen outfit designs
Kamen demonstrated its strength in silhouette construction through a series of light-beige quilted jackets featuring geometric mesh patterns for both men and women. A male model made a striking appearance in a puffy white quilted vest paired with straight-cut tailored trousers, creating a warm and elegant look for the early autumn days.
For menswear, the brand also introduced a refreshed ensemble featuring a boxy V-neck vest in light-beige puffy wool worn over a short-sleeved micro-check shirt. A loosely draped pastel-yellow silk tie, paired with Bermuda shorts and a handheld leather bag, added a romantic and contemporary touch to the look.

For women, Kamen presented a cropped quilted jacket cinched at the waist with a bow belt, styled with a pastel-yellow silk dress and wide-leg white tailored trousers. The interplay between the voluminous texture of quilted padding and the soft drape of silk offered the wearer maximum freedom of movement.
Exquisite gender-neutral layering techniques
The apparel segment by Amateur stood out for its reinterpretation of oversized hooded jackets in dark satin silk, styled with a loosely tied bow-neck blouse in soft yellow and blue-gray Bermuda shorts. This styling approach blurred the boundaries of conventional tailoring, making it well suited to the gender-fluid fashion preferences of urban youth.
The brand also brought a long white shirt to the runway, featuring a ruffled yellow-lime sash tied around the waist, paired with a draped black silk skirt and a glossy leather baseball cap. Details such as the finished sleeve cuffs and side slits were designed with practicality and flexibility for everyday wear in mind.

Long quilted coats extending below the knees, adorned with three-dimensional golden fabric flowers across the chest, also created an intriguing visual highlight. Pairing the padded outerwear with sheer ankle socks and flat black leather shoes allowed the models to maintain a confident and energetic appearance.
Elegance from Vienice’s silk gowns and
The eveningwear and suiting line by Vienice brought an air of sophistication to the runway through a series of floor-sweeping silk gowns. One standout look was a canary-yellow satin silk gown featuring a softly pleated bateau neckline and an elegant waist bow, worn by a silver-haired model who glided gracefully down the runway.

In addition, an indigo silk jumpsuit featuring an abstract blurred floral print, paired with a soft-structured leather handbag, created a glamorous and free-spirited look. A short striped wrap-front cape tied diagonally at the waist, styled with a black skirt and leather beret, also offered an elevated ready-to-wear option for evening occasions.
Completing each look were exquisitely crafted jewelry pieces from Sus Jewelry. The combination of delicate metal jewelry, black sunglasses, and sharply structured leather handbags created a polished urban fashion aesthetic for both the male and female models.
Closing with a harmonious quartet
The conclusion of the show marked an emotional moment as the four designers representing the brands within the SYLGV collective stepped onto the runway together to greet the audience. Dressed in elegant everyday attire in dark shades of black and deep navy-blue, the designers’ radiant smiles were met with resounding applause from the audience.

The enthusiastic response affirmed the appeal of the collaborative creative model adopted by local designers in the Austrian capital. The presentation demonstrated their ability to balance independent artistic perspectives with practical functionality, catering to the diverse fashion needs of both men and women.
SYLGV’s 7:00 p.m. appearance on September 16 contributed to one of the most human-centered cultural highlights of Vienna Fashion Week 2026. The success of the show opened up promising prospects for stronger collaboration among local brands as they work together to reach international markets.
