Taipei International Fashion Week 2026: New rendezvous for international kids’ fashion

Taipei International Fashion Week 2026 – an international children’s fashion week held in Taipei – is expected to become a global rendezvous for young talents and emerging designers. The event not only celebrates the creative beauty of children’s fashion but also opens a vibrant space where art, culture, and Taiwan’s distinctive cuisine come together in harmony.

From international voyages back to the roots in Taipei

Taipei International Fashion Week is a passion project by Runway Productions Taiwan, a member of the global Runway Productions network founded in 2006 by Benjamin Toong. After nearly two decades of leaving its mark in fashion capitals such as Paris, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Hanoi, and Singapore, Runway Productions proudly brings its international expertise back to its homeland of Taiwan — where modern style meets the distinctive spirit of Eastern culture.

The TIFW 2026 event will take place on January 31 and February 1, 2026, at Taipei New Horizon, the city’s new artistic landmark and creative hub. With professional organization and international standards, TIFW aims to build a dedicated global platform for child models and young designers, empowering them to express their identity, confidence, and passion for fashion. TIFW 2026 serves as a cultural bridge, offering a holistic experience that combines fashion, art, and gastronomy, while showcasing a vibrant, innovative, and globally connected image of Taiwan.

The highlight of “fashion × night market”: A symphony of art and gastronomy

One of the key elements that make Taipei International Fashion Week 2026 especially captivating is its collaboration with Ningxia Night Market — the iconic night market of Taipei. For the first time, the essence of traditional Taiwanese cuisine will be paired with an international fashion runway, offering a unique multi-sensory experience unlike any other.

The event space, designed according to the Event Layout Plan – Taipei New Horizon, includes the main runway stage, brand exhibition zones, food stalls, and open experience areas. Among the highlights are 12 signature booths from Ningxia Night Market, where guests can enjoy quintessential Taiwanese dishes such as grilled sausages, bubble milk tea, sweet potato cakes, rice noodles, crispy fried chicken, and braised pork rice.

Amid the shimmering lights, the TIFW logo is placed at the center of the main stage, symbolizing the fusion of traditional culture and modern spirit. This creative blend of fashion and night market culture not only sparks curiosity and excitement but also reflects Taipei’s innovative identity — a city where fashion is not merely worn, but truly lived in rhythm with everyday life.

Runway Productions: Nearly 20 years of shaping international standards

Behind Taipei International Fashion Week 2026 lies nearly two decades of development by Runway Productions — a brand founded by Benjamin Toong in Malaysia in 2006. He is recognized as a pioneer in bringing Asian children’s fashion to the global stage, with hundreds of shows held in Paris, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Singapore, and many other major cities.

Guided by the philosophy “Professionalism – Creativity – Global Standard,” Runway Productions has built an internationally recognized system for model training and fashion event production. Programs under the Runway brand have consistently been praised for their professional execution, artistic quality, and groundbreaking creativity.

Pioneering faces behind TIFW 2026

If Benjamin Toong is regarded as the “architect” of the Runway empire, then in Taiwan, Jochen Shen (申若辰) and Jayden Yen are the two inspirational figures who have turned TIFW 2026 into a new symbol of the regional children’s fashion industry.

With 18 years of international modeling experience, Jochen Shen has worked with CHANEL, LOUIS VUITTON, GUCCI, PRADA, DIOR, and HERMÈS, gracing major runways from Paris and Milan to Seoul and Singapore. She is currently the Founder and Stage Director of Runway Productions Taiwan, where she promotes the philosophy of fashion as a journey that nurtures children’s confidence and grace. Jayden Yen, winner of Malaysia Supermodel 2014, has collaborated with Hermès, Dior, Prada, and Chanel, performing in Milan, Paris, Vietnam, South Korea, and Hong Kong. As Co-founder and Stage Director of Runway Productions Taiwan, he has helped shape a performance style that embodies professionalism, discipline, and creativity for the next generation of young models.

In addition, the teaching faculty of Runway Productions Taiwan consists of internationally certified experts who follow the philosophy of “boutique-standard training,” enabling students to develop holistically in skills, aesthetics, and artistic character.

Taipei: New rendezvous for Asia’s kid’s fashion

The Taipei International Fashion Week 2026 is expected to mark a turning point in positioning Taiwan on the global map of children’s fashion. More than just a gathering of brands, designers, and young models, TIFW stands as a symbol of creativity, integration, and rich cultural identity.

Amid the modern setting of Taipei New Horizon, the confident steps of young models will tell the story of a new generation — one that dares to dream, express, and shine. With meticulous investment, an international spirit, and a distinctive cultural imprint, Taipei International Fashion Week 2026 promises to become the new icon of Asian children’s fashion — a place where fashion is not just clothing, but the language of confidence and creativity.
